Reactionary work - negative scan

This picture replaces the computer image. The image reflects how Franny made me feel. And the color theory reinforces that point. The flower pillow is an nod to femininity.

The project is now composed of 13 pieces. I really don't like that number...

"Goodbye" Negative Scan

"Goodbye" negative scan I shot as reactionary work to the absence of a formal goodbye and rejection.

The door/doorknob is in focus instead of myself. I shot at f/32 but still couldn't get myself sharp.

I'm approaching the body of work as a writer and photographer. I place the two characters in various reality-based situations and attempt to understand them and their dynamic as a pair from their interaction.

The pose from the Paolo character suggests a greater distance from the Franny character as he leans back slightly while the Franny character stays centered.

Taking into account the second image, there is an established trust between the two players. Who is in control? Is it the Paolo character who stands guard or is it the Franny character who decides if she'll even let the Paolo character catch her?
